Mountain Pitch Summit 2021: Results

We are pleased to announce that 2 of the 6 companies that pitched at our October 2021 Mountain Pitch Event received capital and a 3rd is very close to funding.  All 6 companies garnered interest from investors and we will update you when any future deal closes, but as of the end of January, IRON IQ had successfully raised an additional $1million to oversubscribe their A round.  In addition, Copper Key Tiny Homes in collaboration with the BOCES was able to secure a $350,000 commitment from Zuma Labs (part of the Walton Family) and will may provide additional support down the road.  Thrijv next generation modular homes is still in play for funding and has also had promising discussions with local developers for community building.

As a reminder, COVENTURE is a non-profit organization and does not engage in Venture Capital activities, but works closely with West Slope Angels, Greater Colorado Venture Fund, Rocky Mountain Venture Club and others to provide opportunities for local businesses with VC options.  

We are excited to announce that the 2022 Accelerator program will be focused on non-profit organizations that are helpng with economic resilience.  This program will run as an intensive two-week experience in Summer 2022 with six follow-up sessions.  These incredible organizations will be pitching at our Fall Mountain Pitch Summit and we look forward to sharing their stories with you come October
